Man killed during north London police operation

A man has been killed in north London during an "intelligence-led" police operation.

Metropolitan Police said armed officers were in Bracknell Close when a man received was shot at around 0900 GMT.

Police confirmed the man had since died.

London's Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and there are no reports of any other injuries.

Police have confirmed the incident is not related to terrorism and that the Directorate of Professional Standards had been informed.
