Part of parliament evacuated following bomb scare

A suspicious package was found on Monday at the British parliament housing the offices of lawmakers, prompting the London Metropolitan Police to evacuate the area.

The package was spotted at the Porcullis House office building opposite the Houses of Parliament, above the Westminister underground station, which has been closed.
