Scotland's Sturgeon tells Cameron "we will decide our future"

We will decide the future of our country, was the message delivered by Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon to British prime minister David Cameron.
Speaking at the Scottish National Party's (SNP) annual conference, the first minister criticised Cameron's attitude towards Scotland and said the decision on its future would be with its people and not central government.
"The prime minister's attitude to Scotland betrays the worst characteristics of this government - arrogant, patrician and out of touch," Sturgeon said.
"It is not you who will decide the future of Scotland, it will be the people of Scotland who decide the future of our country."
A referendum on Scottish independence was held in September last year, with 55% voting to remain in the UK.
However, since then, the SNP's popularity has grown sharply and there has been talk of a second referendum, despite Cameron considering the debate as settled.
The SNP now needs to "persuade a majority of Scots of what we already know to be true," continued Sturgeon. "Independence is the best future for Scotland."
