Tight race between Brexit and Remain campaigns, poll reveals

It continues to be a tight race between the Brexit and Remain campaigns ahead of the European Union referendum, according to the latest poll by ICM on Tuesday.

The poll, conducted between 29 April and 3 May, revealed 45% will vote for Britain to leave the EU in the 23 June referendum while 44% want to stay.

It compares to ICM’s poll last week which showed 44% of voters in the Remain camp and 46% in the Brexit camp.

ICM said the poll took into account the likelihood of respondents actually voting in the referendum.
