Inflation expectations in the UK stopped rising in August, the results of a survey revealed.

Prices were seen advancing at a 1.8% clip over the next 12 months, the same as in July, although over the next five to 10 years they were expected to increase at a 2.6% pace, up from the 2.4% projected in July, according to a poll conducted by Citi/YouGov.
