Aggreko appoints Nicolas Fournier as MD of Power Solutions

Temporary power provider Aggreko announced the appointment of Nicolas Fournier as managing director of its Power Solutions division, with effect from 2 November.

This announcement follows the reorganisation, announced on 22 June, to move from a regional structure to two separate business units: Rental Solutions and Power Solutions.

Fournier has over 25 years of international experience in different industries across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including 20 years at Lafarge.

Chief executive Chris Weston said: “Nicolas has relevant experience in emerging markets and the industrial sector in particular, which combined with his leadership skills and ability to drive improved business performance will bring further expertise to Aggreko.”

At 1130 GMT, Aggreko shares were down 0.8% at 932p.
