Online retailer Amazon has launched its next-day grocery delivery service that will offer 4,000 products ranging from food to household items.
The service will be open to its Amazon Prime customers who pay a £79 annual subscription.
Customers will pay £2.99 for the first 20kg box they buy, with any additional boxes in the same order will cost 99p.
The retail giant's pantry manager, Helene Parthenay, said: "We are always looking to innovate on behalf of our customers and find ways to save them time and money."
The new service has been designed to "take the heavy lifting out of replenishing the often bulky basics and store cupboard essentials that people need every day", she added.
Thousands of additional products are expected to be added to the current range in the near future.
The service is already available in Germany, Japan and the US.
