Amec Foster Wheeler´s joint-venture with Fluor, Fluor-AMEC II, LLC, has been selected by the US Air Force as one of eight possible suppliers of support and logistical services under its Contract Augmentation Program IV (AFCAP IV) for six years starting 1 October 2015.

Under AFCAP the firm has in the past provided the US Air Force with contractors who have assisted it with military construction and a range of services including in areas such as environment, energy, facilities, logistics, transportation, and contingency operations sites.

In the past, Amec Foster Wheeler has provided the US government with mission support services including in Afghanistan and Iraq.
