Ascential trading 'in line' as Cannes Lions 2018 launches

Ascential said it remained on track to hit full year forecasts, ahead of a capital markets day being held by the events group o Tuesday.

Ascential said the USA edition of Money20/20 held in October recorded "another strong performance" and an "encouraging" response so far to 2018 Cannes Lions event launched overnight.

The capital markets event will be hosted by chief executive Duncan Painter and finance chief Mandy Gradden, plus presentations from key management covering a "deep dive" into MediaLink and Money20/20 as well as plans for the 2018 edition of Cannes Lions.

No material new information will be provided and the presentations will be available on the Ascential website from 1400 GMT.
