ASOS to hire additional 1,500 staff as it expands Camden HQ

Online retailer ASOS has announced plans to hire an additional 1,500 people as it expands its London headquarters over the next three years.

ASOS, which will spend £40m renovating the site in Camden, said the roles will be in technology, marketing and retail.

Chief executive Nick Beighton said: "Our people are what make ASOS special. We are creating a workspace that fosters creativity, where they can enjoy what they do.

"Greater London House is such an important part of the company's history, as well as Camden's, so I'm thrilled that we get to stay in our home, while building a workplace for the future."

At 0850 GMT, the shares were down 1.2% to 4,771p
