Belluscura announced on Friday that its ‘X-PLOR’ portable oxygen concentrator (POC) was now available in the US through GoodRx, making it the first medical device in its field marketed through the digital healthcare platform.

The AIM-traded firm’s X-PLOR is a lightweight and portable oxygen enrichment technology designed to help people with respiratory difficulties breathe easier.

It provides concentrated oxygen purified from the surrounding air, making it an effective alternative to heavy oxygen tanks.

With the X-PLOR now available through GoodRx, consumers would have access to the therapy alongside transparent and lower pricing.

The Nasdaq-listed GoodRx operates a digital platform that allows users to compare prices for prescription drugs at nearby pharmacies, find discounts, and purchase medications in America’s fragmented and opaque healthcare market.

“In our continued goal of broadening product distribution and making supplemental oxygen more accessible to people throughout the US, we are excited to have the X-PLOR marketed through GoodRx, a recognised leader in making healthcare more accessible and affordable in the US,” said chief executive officer Robert Rauker.

At 1422 GMT, shares in Belluscura were up 5.59% at 44.88p.
