CapCo confirms talks with Mayor's Office of West London building
Capital & Counties is in talks with the office of the Mayor of London over the ongoing use of the Empress State Building in West London by the Metropolitan Police.
Capco confirmed the discussions with the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime after noting recent press speculation.
The FTSE 250 company said: "Options under consideration include a lease extension and the acquisition by MOPAC of the freehold interest in the building."
It stressed that there was no certainty that any transaction will be agreed and said it would make further announcements when appropriate.
