Capita CFO packs his bags

Capita chief financial officer Nick Greatorex has given notice that he intends to leave the outsourcer, seven months after a new chief executive was appointed.

With the hunt for a new CFO now underway, Greatorex has agreed to remain in place to help with the transition to whoever is appointed to replace him.

Chief executive Jon Lewis, who joined in December, highlighted the "significant contribution" Greatorex has made during a period of change for the FTSE.

Capita will announce its half year results and Lewis will elucidate transformation programme on 1 August.
