C&C Group veteran non-exec to step down

C&C Group non-executive director John Hogan will retire from the company’s board on 29 February, the beer and cider maker confirmed on Wednesday.

Hogan has served on the Magner’s cider maker's board since its initial public offering in 2004. During this time at C&C, he also served as chairman of the company’s audit committee.

Chairman Sir Brian Stewart said: "On behalf of the board and the company, I would like to thank John for his contribution since his appointment as a non-executive director at the time of C&C's IPO in 2004.

“In particular, John brought over 40 years of financial experience and financial expertise, and served as chairman of the audit committee. We wish John well for the future."

At 1423 GMT, C&C Group's share price was down 0.9% or 0.03p at 3.46p.
