Computacenter said on Friday that it is "very comfortable" with its current full-year expectations as it has entered the fourth quarter with good short-term visibility and a strong backlog of orders.

The company said in a brief update that the third quarter to 30 September ended as it had expected when it reported its interim results in September and that it was "highly pleased" with the performance, as a whole, across all of its major geographies.

Computacenter also said that following a shareholder vote last week, Canada’s Pivot - which it agreed to buy last month - will become part of the group on 2 November. On the same day, it will also complete the transaction to buy BT Services France, which will be renamed Computacenter Network & Systems and become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Computacenter France SAS.

"These acquisitions will have a marginal positive effect on our 2020 results but should, together in aggregate, add significantly to 2021," it said.
