De Beers second cycle diamond sales hit $495m
Anglo American's diamond mining business De Beers provisionally sold $495m in rough diamonds in its second sales cycle of 2023, up from $454m in the first cycle.
The figure is a fall from the $652m recorded in the second sales cycle of 2022.
“It is also encouraging to see some positive trends in end-client demand for diamond jewellery at the start of the year,” said De Beers chief executive Al Cook.
