Pizza delivery chain Domino's Pizza Group has tapped Edward Jamieson to take over as chief financial officer, succeeding current interim CFO David Surdeau.

Domino's said on Monday that Jamieson, who previously served as Just Eat's UK & Ireland regional finance director, was expected to join both the group and its board of directors in October. Surdeau will stay on until November in order to ensure an orderly handover of responsibilities.

Prior to Just Eat, Jamieson held senior finance roles in prominent, consumer-facing, digitally-led businesses, including Amazon and Diageo.

Chairman Matt Shattock said: "We are delighted to have attracted a CFO of Edward's calibre to Domino's. He brings a great blend of senior financial experience and a background in big consumer, digitally-led brands which is exactly what we need to continue growing the Domino's business.

"With Edward further strengthening our excellent leadership team, and a clear strategy for the future in place, I'm confident we can continue to deliver strong results, delight our customers, and support our world-class franchisees."
