easyJet sees 10% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers

easyJet had nearly 6.4m passengers booked on its flights in October.
The FTSE 100 budget airline posted its latest passenger statistics on Thursday.
The statistics showed an increase of 9.7% compared to the number of seats booked in the same month last year, but a 3.2% decrease on September.
Of all seats available on the network, 93.3% were booked, just ahead of September and a 2.5 percentage point increase on October 2014.
In the last 12 months the airline has carried just over 69m passengers in total.
easyJet also noted that its full year profit before tax guidance continues to be between £675m and £700m.
