Easyjet September passenger numbers and load factor rise

Low-cost airline EasyJet’s September passenger numbers grew 7.6% from the same month last year to 6.61m.
The load factor, meanwhile, which measures how full the planes were, rose 0.9 percentage point from last year to 93.1%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers were up 6% to 68.63m.
The company said its pre-tax profit guidance continues to be within a range of £675m to £700m for the year to 30 September 2015, as guided in the trading update on 3 September.
