Home improvement group Entu has successfully completed the disposal of its loss-making kitchen retail operation, Norwood Interiors, to David Hole and Mark Blayney of GPS Capital for a nominal sum of £1.

The disposal follows Entu's statement, in its recent interim results announcement, that it was in discussions regarding a sale of Norwood, which the group considered non-core to operations and its strategy.

In Entu's recent set of interim results, Norwood was treated as a discontinued operation. During that period, it contributed revenues of £1.88m and an operating loss of £248,000, before an impairment charge of £156,000.

At 1228 BST, Entu shares were up 1% at 62.10p.
