Esure appoints Angela Seymour-Jackson as non-exec director

Insurer Esure has appointed industry veteran Angela Seymour-Jackson as a new non-executive director and member of its risk and remuneration committees with immediate effect.

Seymour-Jackson joined Aegon UK in May 2012 and was appointed managing director of the Workplace Division of in December that year. She is also a non-executive director at Henderson Group and Rentokil Initial.

Seymour-Jackson has held various senior marketing and distribution roles from 1989 to 2011 at Norwich Union Insurance, General Accident Insurance, CGU and Aviva and was chief executive officer of RAC Motoring Services from 2010 until 2012.

At 1145 BST, Esure shares were up 0.4% at 241p.
