Housebuilding and construction group Galliford Try announced a new contract win on Thursday, with its joint venture with process outsourcing firm Capita extending the Urban Vision partnership with Salford City Council.
The FTSE 250 firm was also appointed to two new frameworks in the north east of England.
Urban Vision was formed in 2005 to provide technical services to Salford City Council in areas including property, regulatory planning, engineering infrastructure and design and highway operations planning.
Galliford Try’s board said its role in the partnership is to provide highways maintenance services.
The framework has now been extended to its full 15-year term which will run to 2020, with a value of up to £90m. Galliford Try anticipates seeing revenues of £30m from the partnership.
Its second contract win was a new infrastructure framework for the North East Purchasing Organisation, which represents 12 local authorities, worth a total of between £900m and £1.2bn.
Galliford Try has been allocated to five lots - namely infrastructure works above £5m, highways work above £5m, marine and coastal works above £1m, highways structures above £5m and public realm works above £1m.
The final contract is a civil engineering framework operated by the South Tyneside Council, which is anticipated to generate around £20m of business over its three-year term.
"These awards demonstrate the breadth and versatility of the service provided by our Infrastructure division and, in particular, the strength of our highways and environmental businesses,” said Galliford Try chief executive Peter Truscott.
“We look forward to working with all the partners involved to make a high quality contribution to the infrastructure of the North West and North East."
