Construction group Galliford Try announced on Tuesday that it has been awarded two commercial contracts in London with a combined value of £87m.
The London-listed company said its building division would lead a £53m redevelopment project at 30-33 Sloane Street for Cadogan.
It said the project would involve retaining the historic façade while constructing a new six-level building featuring luxury retail units, category A office space, and a rooftop restaurant.
In a separate £34m contract, Galliford Try said it would build a 133,000 square foot mixed-use facility for Big Yellow Self Storage in Wapping.
The development would include a self-storage facility, flexible offices, a business hub, and workspace accommodation.
“Maintaining the organic growth of our building business is a key part of our sustainable growth strategy and our track record in the commercial sector within London is a strong one,” said chief executive officer Bill Hocking.
“We look forward to working with both these blue chip clients to create schemes that we can be proud of and enhance the local environment.”
At 0919 GMT, shares in Galliford Try Holdings were up 0.58% at 381.2p.
