GameAccount Network wins industry award

Gaming software systems developer GameAccount Network has received a major industry award in Italy.

The London-listed company received eGaming Review's 'Casino Software Supplier of the Year” award, which covers Italy’s regulated internet gaming market, beating the likes of Evolution Gaming and Playtech to the award.

Demand for online casino in Italy is growing, with active player days rising 11% year-on-year in the first half of 2015, while the daily player yield in the period was 19% higher than in the first half of 2014.

“We have many more games to deliver in the balance of 2015 and into 2016 and will continue to deliver our client operators’ requests to bring the best in gaming to one of Europe’s most dynamic Internet gaming markets,” said Sara DiFinizio, GameAccount Network's country manager in Italy.

GameAccount shares were down 2.38% to 38.07p at 0830 BST.
