Games Workshop updated the market on the end of its trading year on Friday, reporting that its sales and profit growth, as discussed in its update on 4 May, had continued to the end of the financial year.

The FTSE 250 company said growth had been seen across all sales channels.

It said it expected the group's sales for the 53 weeks to 3 June to be approximately £219m, with profit before tax to be no less than £74m.

Royalties receivable from licensing were set to be £10m.

In recognition of its staff's contribution to the results, Games Workshop paid a bonus during the year amounting to £5m, which was paid equally to each member of staff.

Games Workshop’s board declared a dividend of 30p per share as well, to be paid on 27 July to shareholders on the register on 22 June, with an ex-dividend date of 21 June.

The last date for elections for the dividend reinvestment plan would be 6 July.

“We will provide detailed information on the audited results for the 2018 financial year at the time of our full year results announcement on 31 July,” the Games Workshop board said.
