Mobile real money and social games developer, publisher and licensor Gaming Realms announced on Tuesday that its business-to-business software division Alchemy Bet has signed a gaming platform deal with River Game Operations, a subsidiary of River iGaming, the Norwegian-listed real money gaming company.

The AIM-traded firm said the agreement, which included a revenue-share arrangement, would see Alchemy Bet help to launch River Game Operations' new casino brand ‘Casonic’ in the Scandinavian market, which would be hosted on Gaming Realms' proprietary gaming platform, Grizzly.

It said the new multi-language gaming site would accept and pay out in a number of different currencies, with payments operated by Entercash, which would allow players to register direct from their online banking account.

Casonic was expected to launch before the end of the year.

Gaming Realms said the agreement marked an extension of its relationship with River iGaming, following the acquisition of a number of Gaming Realms' business-to-consumer sites and associated business by River UK Casino, a UK subsidiary of River iGaming.

“This is a significant milestone for Gaming Realms,” said chief executive officer Patrick Southon.

“Whilst we have built games for international markets, this is the first time our proprietary platform will service a casino in a market outside the UK.

“We're looking forward to seeing Casonic grow its player base and further developing our relationship with River iGaming.”
