HICL Infrastructure nabs stake in Ireland Primary Care Centres Project

HICL Infrastructure Company has acquired a 60% stake in the Ireland Primary Care Centres Project for €11.6m.
The FTSE 250 infrastructure investment group said the cost includes a commitment to invest €9.5m in 2018. The total construction cost for the project is approximately €145m, and work is scheduled to take 27 months.
The project is a 26-year concession for the design, construction, financing and maintenance of 14 primary care centres across Ireland.
New facilities will be built in Dublin, as well as at locations in Galway, Kildare, Limerick, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Waterford, Tipperary and Wexford.
The construction works will be undertaken by Balfour Beatty Ireland and JJ Rhatigan & Company, with ongoing maintenance performed by Aramark Ireland.
At 0813 BST, shares were down 0.1% to 162.90p.
