Hochschild to restart Peru operations after Covid-19 suspensions
Hochschild Mining said it was restarting operations at its Inmaculada and Pallancata mines in Peru and expected to reissue full year guidance once it hit full production and the overall impact of coronavirus suspensions was clear.
The company said planned to begin ramping-up progressively to achieve full production in the coming weeks.
Hochschild's San Jose mine in southern Argentina also recently restarted operations and is following a phased ramp-up process.
Brownfield exploration programme was expected to recommence in July, it added.
