Hunting chairman to step down

Oilfield services company Hunting has appointed John Glick as non-executive chairman of the board with effect from 1 September, when Richard Hunting will step down after 26 years as chairman.

Hunting will remain on the board as a non-independent, non-executive director.

Glick was appointed a non-executive director on 2 February 2015 and has served on the company's Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees since then. Prior to joining Hunting, he was president and chief executive officer of Lufkin Industries from 2008 to 2013, when Lufkin was acquired by General Electric.

Between 1974 and 1994, he held several senior management roles within Cameron International Corporation and its predecessor companies. He is currently a non-executive director of TETRA Technologies Inc., a NYSE listed oil services company.

At 0915 BST, the shares were down 3.6% to 387.50p .
