International Personal Finance CFO Gardner resigns

International Personal Finance said on Wednesday that is chief financial officer, Adrian Gardner, has resigned "to pursue an alternative business opportunity".

The company said a recruitment process has begun to appoint a new CFO. Head of finance Justin Lockwood will become CFO in the interim and Gardner will leave the business once an orderly handover has been completed.

Lockwood will join the company's executive committee and will attend board meetings, but will not be appointed as an executive director of the board.

In addition, the group provided a brief update, confirming that 2016 trading continues to be in line with its expectations, with Mexico showing encouraging signs of progress and performing as guided at the time of the interim results.

A third-quarter trading update is scheduled for release on 20 October.

At 1520 BST, the shares were up 0.4% to 271.90p.
