Jimmy Choo appoints Elisabeth Murdoch as non-exec director

Luxury shoe-maker Jimmy Choo announced the appointment of Elisabeth Murdoch - daughter of media mogul Rupert Murdoch - as an independent non-executive director.

Murdoch is an executive and entrepreneur in the media and technology sectors.

She is currently chair of Freelands Group and trustee of the Tate and will be joining the Jimmy Choo board with effect from Friday.

Chairman Peter Harf said Murdoch “brings a wealth of experience”.
