Jupiter Fund Management said first quarter net inflows were £723m against a backdrop of volatile markets.

Assets under management increased 1.4% to £36.2bn, despite a £216m hit from adverse market and currency movements.

Jupiter said first quarter net mutual fund inflows were £443m with inflows into European equity and global bond strategies, and from the launch of a new Asian equity product.

“Total AUM increased across the quarter as net inflows more than offset negative market movements,” it said.
