Laura Ashley to cease concessions in Homebase stores

Laura Ashley Holdings says it is ceasing to trade in its concessions in Homebase stores following that company's acquisition by Wesfarmers.

Closure of the concessions would occur in second-quarter 2017.

The company did not anticipate a material impact, and expected the majority of trade it received from the soon-to-close concessions would be redirected to Laura Ashley stores and website.

At about 10:36 BST, shares in Laura Ashley were up 1.24% to 20.5p.
