Building and landscape materials supplier Marshalls on Wednesday said it had appointed former Genuit Group chief operating officer Matthew Pullen as chief executive-designate, to succeed Martyn Coffey.

Pullen will join the board as a director on January 8 next year and will take over as CEO from March 1. Coffey will step down from the board on February 29 2024, but will remain available as an adviser to support Pullen's induction and transition during 2024, Marshalls said in a statement.
