Mondi disposes of German containerboard mill for EUR25m

Mondi has agreed to sell its recycled containerboard mill and related recycling operations in Raubling, Germany, to the Heinzel Group for an enterprise value of €25m on a debt and cash free basis.

The paper and packaging company said the deal, which remains subject to competition clearance, is expected to complete by the end of the year.

“The sale enables Mondi to focus on the development of its core containerboard operations in line with its strategy.”

At 0928 GMT, Mondi shares were up 0.2% at 1,493p.
