Prior to that he was CEO of Collect+, and before that he was UK managing director and European director of Marketplaces at eBay.
Lewis has an MA in mathematics from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD, with Moneysupermarket’s board adding he has a track record of “successfully leading businesses” in the consumer and online industries.
“The board is pleased to appoint Mark Lewis as group CEO of Moneysupermarket,” said chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown.
“[We] conducted a wide-ranging and thorough search for the role, [and] Mark has a successful track record of leading fast growing digital businesses with strong customer satisfaction, trust and values.
“His experience and values are aligned with Moneysupermarket's goal of helping our customers save money on their household bills.”
Mark Lewis added that he is “delighted” to be joining Moneysupermarket.
