New prospecting license awarded to Botswana Diamonds joint venture

The Botswana Government have awarded new prospecting license to Sunland Minerals, a joint venture between Botswana Diamonds and Alrosa.
The license covers a 25 sq. km area in the Orapa region of Botswana, which contains three previously-discovered kimberlite bodies.
Botswana Diamonds said work on reviewing the block has commenced with a view to defining new anomalies and drill targets.
The existing kimberlites are also being reviewed to verify if they warrant further evaluation.
The new licence is valid for three years from 1 October 2015.
