NMC Health's non-executive director steps down

Heather Lawrence is set to step down from the non-executive board of NMC Health after three years as director.

The FTSE 250 group said that Lawrence, who first joined the company’s non-executive board in March 2012 before being nominated to the audit committee in 2013, will leave the group on 12 January 2016 to focus on her other roles.

“Heather has played an important role on the Board since the company's listing on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange in April 2012, particularly as chair of the clinical governance committee,” said group chairman Mark Tompkins.

NMC shares were up 1.49% to 818.50p at 1536 BST on Monday.
