Outgoing Tesco CEO Lewis to stay on a little longer

Tesco said on Monday that Dave Lewis will stay on as chief executive officer for a little longer.

The supermarket chain said new CEO Ken Murphy will start on 1 October after "fully respecting his contractual non-compete obligations".

To ensure a smooth handover, Lewis has agreed to extend his tenure until 30 September.
