Paul Kahn shifting to Cobham from Airbus UK

Cobham announced the appointment of Paul Kahn as president of its communications and connectivity sector on Tuesday.

The FTSE 250 company said Kahn has “extensive” international aerospace and defence experience, having worked since 2014 as president and CEO of Airbus Group UK.

Prior to that, he held the same post at Thales Canada - part of the French-based Thales Group.

Cobham said Kahn also spent part of his career at the UK Ministry of Defence and at Ford Motor Company.

He is a Chartered Engineer and received an MBA from London Business School.

Kahn had also retained several senior advisory positions with trade bodies in recent years, including being the current president of ADS - the UK trade body for Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space.

Paul Kahn will take up his new role on 2 October.

Michel Emelianoff, current president of Cobham's communications and connectivity Sector will leave the business by the end of the calendar year, following a handover period.
