Plus 500 shares sink after suspending some accounts

Shares in Plus 500 plummeted on reports it has suspended some accounts pending verification that they meet UK anti-money laundering regulations.

As of 13:49 shares in the London-listed Israeli-based contract for differences (CFD) outfit were lower by 14.13% to 644p.

Earlier in the day the broker had notified the market that JP Morgan had upped its stake in the retail Forex and CFD broker to 6.18% as of 15 May, up from 5.99% on 31 March 2015.
