Premier Energy and Water Trust unveils boardroom changes

Premier Energy and Water Trust has appointed Gillian Nott as a non-executive director with effect from 1 March.

In a statement to the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the company said Nott would stand for election at its annual general meeting in April. She has over 12 years experience in the energy sector including positions with BP.

Nott went on to be CEO of ProShare, chairman of Witan Pacific Investment Trust, deputy chairman of the Association of Investment Companies, a non-executive director of the Financial Services Authority, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Investment Trust and Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society.

She is currently chairwoman of JP Morgan Russian Securities and non-executive director of BlackRock Smaller Companies Investment Trust.

Premier Energy and Water Trust also announced that Michael Wigley will cease to be a director of the company with effect from 19 April.
