GVC and Ocado join FTSE 100, Premier Oil promoted to 250

Changes to the FTSE 350 index have been confirmed after the latest quarterly review by administrators at FTSE Russell.

Online grocer Ocado and Ladbrokes owner GVC Holdings were promoted to the FTSE 100 as Mediclinic International and G4S dropped down mid-caps.

The changes will become effective from Monday 18 June.

They will be joined by financial platform operator Integrafin, mobile components maker Laird, together with exploration and production groups Energean Oil & Gas and Premier Oil.

Demoted from the 250 into the small caps will be Pets at Home, Marstons, Woodford Patient Capital Trust and Purecircle.
