Rank Group CFO resigns, takes job at Watches of Switzerland
Gambling company Rank Group revealed on Thursday that chief financial officer Bill Floydd will stand down from the role in order to take up the same role over at Watches of Switzerland.
Rank said Floydd, who joined Rank in 2018, had tendered his resignation and was expected to make the move to Watches of Switzerland, where he will succeed current CFO Anders Romberg, at the end of 2021.
The FTSE 250-listed firm stated it would begin a search for Floydd's successor shortly.
Floydd said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Rank and feel that now is the right point at which to pursue my next opportunity.
"Whilst the last 18 months have been an extraordinary period for everyone, I am confident that Rank will go from strength to strength now that it is back open for business and John and the team continue to deliver on the group's transformation programme."
As of 0910 BST, Rank shares were down 1.56% at 177.20p, and Watches of Switzerland shares were 0.55% lower at 1,008.40p.
