Ryanair passenger numbers jump 10% in May
Budget airline Ryanair reported a 10% jump in May passenger numbers on Friday.
Traffic rose to 17m passengers from 15.4m in the same month a year earlier, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - increased to 94% from 92%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers were up 39% to 171.9m in May, and the load factor pushed up to 94% from 84%.
