Ryanair traffic jumps 13% in June

Budget airline Ryanair reported 13% jump in June passenger numbers on Tuesday.

Group traffic rose to 14.2 million from 12.6m in June 2018, while the load factor - which measures how full the flights are - came in at 97%.

Ryanair traffic increased 8% to 13.6m, with a load factor of 97%, while Lauda carried 0.6m passengers and had a load factor of 96%.

On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers were up 10% to 146.5m, with a load factor of 96%.

At 0910 BST, the shares were up 1% at €10.21.
