Budget airline Ryanair reported a 5% jump in February passenger numbers on Monday.

Traffic rose to 11.1m from 10.6mm in the same month a year earlier, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - was unchanged at 92%.

On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers grew 9% to 182.6m and the load factor ticked up to 94% from 93%.

Ryanair said it operated over 63,000 flights in February, with 800 flights cancelled due to the Israel/Gaza conflict.
