Ryanair traffic jumps 9% in October
Budget airline Ryanair reported a 9% jump in October passenger numbers on Thursday.
Traffic rose to 17.1m passengers from 15.7m in the same month a year earlier, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - ticked down to 93% from 94%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers grew 15% to 180.3m, and the load factor rose to 94% from 91%.
Ryanair said it operated over 96,700 flights in October, with more than 870 cancelled due to the Israel/Gaza conflict.
