Sage to launch another £300m share buyback
Software firm Sage will commence a share buyback programme of up to another £300.0m, following completion of its current £300.0m programme announced in March.
Sage said on Friday that the new buyback programme would run from 6 September, and was expected to end no later than 24 January 2022.
The FTSE 100-listed firm stated the buyback programme was consistent with its "disciplined approach" to capital allocation and reflected its medium-term leverage objectives.
Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Securities will act as joint brokers on the programme.
As of 0845, Sage shares were up 0.027% at 743.20p.
