Segro rights issue 97.8% subscribed

Segro said its one-for-five rights issue had been 97.8% subscribed and expected the new shares to begin trading on Tuesday.

The issue, at 345p a share, was launched to part-fund Segro's £350m cash and asset purchase of the remaining 50% stake in the Airport Property Partnership from its partner Aviva Life & Pensions.
